First off...today is considered 'Suicide Wednesday'. This is the first day of the festival that tickets are not offered at a discounted price. The average show attendance is eight patrons. We had a 3/4 full house, and a vocal crowd at that! The local tech crew assured us that this is a good sign. Spirits are high! We also have a premier street performance set booked for the next couple days on the Royal Mile. It's where all of the acts go to showcase portions of their shows on the street. Our set is at noon at a highly visible spot...we're lucky to have it, and have already played for some big crowds. I'll get some pictures of that tomorrow.
Now...here are some random photos!
Nothing is Really Difficult! This is our Dutch friends' ready-made theater, just outside our venue.
Our Venue, the 500 seat George Square Theatre.
From left: Mark, Danny, Galen, Aaron, Kaleena and Ricci taking a break on a curb between a busking set, and a regular performance.
Typical view on the way from the flat to the venue.
Our Street!
The company hang...the Mercat. The red door to the left of the restaurant is the entrance to our flat.
Mark, Myself and Cory at the Club Bar...not having any fun. At all. no fun.
